Mazie Leftwich, Psy. D.
Senior Vice President, Professional Development Institute (PDI)
Since 1989, Dr. Mazie Leftwich has served as an officer of CLS, working extensively in a variety of administrative areas of the Corporate Office including human resources, marketing, accounting and at one point serving as General Manager. Dr. Leftwich facilitates CLS’s regular strategic planning sessions as well as being a sought after Corporate Trainer and Communicator outside of the Company.
Dr. Leftwich is an IRWA Certified Instructor for a number of communication courses, teaching these regularly throughout the United States for various Chapters, Regions and at the International Annual Education Symposium. Her education includes a Bachelor in Psychology, a Master’s in Administrative and Clinical Social Work and a Doctorate in Applied Psychology.
Dr. Leftwich serves as Office in Charge of the CLS Professional Development Institute and has been the catalyst behind CLS's extensive employee training, project training, and team-excellence programs for supervisors and managers. Currently she is providing monthly training for Corporate employees, project kick-off training, and works on various special projects.
Dr. Leftwich is known for bringing to her workshops and classes a combination of her communication expertise, clinical knowledge, and a keen sense of humor with a joy for presenting informative topics in a fun-filled atmosphere.
Mazie's background includes that she founded and maintained a private counseling practice for 30 years, specializing in organizational and personal relationships. She is a member of the IRWA's Gulf State Chapter 8 and various other professional organizations.
