President Training & Special Projects
Since 1989, Dr. Mazie Leftwich has served as a
senior officer of CLS, working extensively in a variety
of administrative areas of the Corporate Office
including human resources, marketing, and accounting,
and at one point serving as General Manager. Currently
Dr. Leftwich serves as Director of the CLS Professional
Development Institute and has been the catalyst behind
CLS's extensive employee training, project training, and
team-excellence programs for supervisors and managers.
Dr. Leftwich provides regular training for
corporate employees and project kick-offs, as well as
handling various special projects. Dr. Leftwich
facilitates CLS’s regular strategic planning sessions
for it Leadership Team, as well as being a sought after
Corporate Trainer and Communicator outside of the
Company.
She is an IRWA Certified Instructor for a number
of communication courses, teaching these regularly
throughout the United States for various Chapters,
Regions and at the International Annual Education
Conference. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science
in Psychology, a Master’s in Administrative and Clinical
Social Work and a Doctorate in Applied Psychology.
Dr. Leftwich is known for bringing to her
workshops and classes a combination of her communication
expertise, clinical knowledge, and a keen sense of humor
with a joy for presenting informative topics in a
fun-filled atmosphere.
In addition to her work at CLS, for 30 years Mazie
maintained a limited private counseling practice
specializing in organizational and personal
relationships, as well as Executive and Leadership
Coaching. She is a member of the IRWA's Gulf State
Chapter 8 – Region 2, and various other professional
organizations.
