Kevin Taliaferro
Director, GIS Services
As Director of CLS’s GIS Services and Virtual Right of Way departments, Kevin oversees
the development of the firm’s services related to GIS and specializes in providing GIS
development and implementation strategies for both private and public sector clients.
With a staff of 12, Kevin and his team integrate web-based GIS applications with real-time
information from our proprietary database, CLSLiNK, for managing land assets and creating
custom reports and GIS enabled maps.
Kevin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Genetics from Texas A&M University and thereafter
began his career at CLS as a project field agent where he gained valuable insight on the
benefits that GIS technology could bring not only to CLS, but to the industry as a whole.
Kevin is currently a member of the Chapter 8 International Right of Way Association (IRWA)
and of the Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGAC).
